Truth in short supply from Olbermanniac
Mark Finkelstein at Newsbusters is reporting Keith Olbermanniac's latest malicious mendacity and/or total bleeping ignorance over Iran's material support and training of terrorists murdering US troops.
Olbermanniac claimed last night on his odious Countdown that...
"recent claims from the president that Iran is providing advanced weaponry and training to our enemies in Iraq . . . is proving . . . suspect . .That's an absolute flat out lie. The guy is just a lying scumbag, no two ways about it.
There's isn't a serious intelligence expert, or counter-terrorism analyst who wouldn't confirm that Iran has been up to its neck in helping kill US and coalition forces in Iraq for at least the past three years.
And around the world for the past 20 years.
In fact, the question that needs to be answered is why this situation hasn't been terminated with extreme prejudice?
Okay, I know the answer. It's called the unelected cabal of arabists, liberals and career a-holes who run the State Department. (Administrations come and go, but State is forever.)
But you know what, constitutionally they still answer to the Secretary of State, who answers to the President, who decides policy.
Keifer really knows Jack about torture
Noel Sheppard over at Newsbusters has picked up an odd Keither Sutherland interview (Charlie Rose Show, PBS, January 12) two days before the big 24 Day 6 premier.
And before the show being subject to a sustained attack by the shrill left. The poor babies hate the thought of waking up the American people to the fact that some Islamo-terrorists are working assiduously to drop a nuke on their cities ass.
Talking to Charlie, our Keif has been brainwashed into believing reactionary socialism is the answer to problems.
Sure, if your problem is how to impoverish, enslave and imprison people then socialism is the sure fire winner.
However it's his liberal mantra about torture that caught our eye here at Hollycrud Towers, where the fictional Jack Bauer can get champers and blinis anyday.
And it is widely known that torture - - you can torture someone and they`ll
basically tell you exactly what you want to hear, whether it`s true or not, if you put someone in enough pain. Torture is not a way of procuring information.
That's way, way too simplistic. And rather a rather black and white way of looking at things.
Clearly there are certain individuals who have a greater capacity to withstand pain.
Special Forces are trained to hold out. But virtually everyone does actually have a breaking point. That is an undeniable, absolute fact.
If the aim of the torture is to elicit a specific fact -- like the location and names of his fellow terrorists, or a bomb, they will give it up, given the time and effort used to get the info. As it can be quickly verified, where's the upside to the person being tortured? It simply continues if he lied.
A famous case would be Guy Fawkes, the guy who tried to blow up the English parliament. He was hideously tortured and gave up all his fellow plotters within a day. And this guy was really motivated, dedicated by what he did, which he saw as being sanctioned by God.
Then there's the infamous case of William Buckley, the CIA station chief in Beruit who was kidnapped and tortured by Islamo-fascists in 1986. He was passed over to the Iranians who extracted everything from Mr. Buckey, even taping his hideous torment and sending tapes to the CIA. So please, none of this nonsense, Keifer.
And you can't really believe in Stockholm Syndrome, where normal human beings, apparently, fairly quickly bond with their captors. Yet for some odd reason, if you tortured these same people, it would have the opposite effect.
And you know what, I don't think Keifer actually believes that himself, he's just mouthing it. He's an executive producer on 24. He has a lot of clout on the plot. Time after time, either he or others are shown torturing people who give it up.
You think if Keifer really believed what he said, that would appear in the show? I think not.
In fact, the most unbelievable thing I've ever seen on the show occurred in the first five minutes in Day Six.
Keifer is supposed to have been in a Chinese prison for 18 months, tortured everyday, and it's claimed he has not spoken one word in all that time.
Excuse me? The Chinese INVENTED the most diabolic torture techniques a couple of millenniums ago. Chinese Water Torture, to name but one. They are masters of torture. And they know it works.
But Jack Bauer, we stills loves ya baby.
